Dex got hit by a Mud Bomb on the switch in + the hail, he was sitting at around 60% HP. Nothing was going to appreciate an attack from Poliswine, but it was going to sleep the following turn so I thought switching to Dex the Ambipom wouldn't be too risky. Well turn out the Poliswine was a bit scarier than I thought! Astro wasn't doing as well as I thought with the Hail chipping at him, so I had to switch out right after landing a Yawn. And then I'd be free to kill him with surfs or switch to another pokemon for an easy KO. And I thought the Poliswine would be no problem either since Astro the Slowpoke can tank a couple of his hits and put him to sleep. TARS the Magneton easily dealt with Pryce's Seel and Dewgong with Choice Specs Thundershocks. I wasn't worried what so ever about this one. 2 Ultra Balls later I had a Shiny Gyarados! I don't have any plan of using it right now, but it's a very good water type backup to have.Īfter an uneventful Team Rocket Hideout I headed into the gym. Then I was able to safely switch to Astro to put him to sleep and lower his HP. So I lead with Dex and Sand Attack 6 times in a row. This was kind of scary because of Dragon Rage. I then went to Lake of Rage to catch the red Gyarados. While exploring the routes leading to the Safari zone Bean, Dex and TARS evolved! Now we're only waiting on Astro to have a real all-star team!
